Sunday Still Life was a weekly painting practice that I started during Covid in April 2020 and ran (with some small breaks to have my two daughters) until April 2024. Every Sunday I painted two 30x30cm acrylic still-life paintings, using objects that I had foraged or collected the week before, or something that had inspired me. The series was designed to represent seasonal changes, document my surroundings and allow me to experiment with painting techniques, subject matter, composition or colours. The idea was to also create affordable original art, perhaps for first time collectors. You can see all the paintings that I created over the 150 weeks below!
