Having a creative hobby is SO important for our mental health - but when you work full time, have kids, or just a really busy schedule, it can be really tricky to fit in some creative time at the end of the day. To help with this, myself and fellow artist Kate Quinn have just released two online painting courses, to guide you through the process of creating a simple floral still life! The courses are broken down into easy to follow video modules, with supporting text and images, so you can create from the comfort of your home, at your own pace, stopping and starting as you need.
Learn to paint a floral still life in acrylics, like this, with me!

If you've always wanted to learn how to paint, or you need a bit of encouragement after an extended creative break, you've come to the right place! My hope is that these courses help you to carve out some time in the day (or night) to fill up your creative cup. Even dedicating half an hour a day to practice your painting will do wonders for your mental health and your painting practice. We are both so passionate about the joy in the process of painting, and we hope that these courses can connect you with this feeling too. It's all about the process, not just the destination! Additionally, if you don't have any art supplies at home, or find art shops a bit overwhelming (they are!), we also offer art kits, of our preferred materials, that we hand pack and send anywhere in Australia, from our studios in Brisbane. You can shop the art kits here.
