MONTHLY MUSE SERIES _ FEBRUARY _ SEASCAPES

Welcome to my monthly studio release of affordable, original art. Each month, I choose a different theme or 'muse' to work with; to give myself a chance to explore and experiment with different mediums, subject matter, techniques and more. My last series called Sunday Still Life, ran for 150 weeks and really expanded my painting practice, so I am eager to see what this monthly release brings.

February started with a family holiday to the Sunshine Coast, which provided me with inspiration to create some sketches. I think it's fitting to mark the end of summer with a mini seascapes release. I had a few pieces already in the studio that also fit this theme, so I hope you enjoy this month's curation! You'll find a mix of sizes, from 20x20cm up to 40x50cm, in both acrylic and oils. I love painting seascapes, and I try to capture that sense of calm as you walk down the beach of a late afternoon, with the cool sand beneath your feet. Personally, it's my favourite time of the day to be by the water.
