MONTHLY MUSE SERIES _ SEPTEMBER _ SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Welcome to my latest studio series; a monthly release of affordable, original art. Each month, I choose a different theme or 'muse' to work with; to give myself a chance to explore and experiment with different mediums, subject matter, techniques and more. My last series called Sunday Still Life, ran for 150 weeks and really expanded my painting practice, so I am eager to see what this monthly release brings.

September's release has been inspired by a trip down to South Australia! I was visiting the Fleurieu Peninsula to co-run a Bloom workshop, when I decided to add on a few extra days, drive to the Barossa Valley, to visit friends and gather inspiration. This collection is a mix of acrylic and oils, landscapes and still life - fluffy red bottle brush, giant wattle, majestic gum trees, valleys of lilies, rolling vineyards, bright yellow canola fields and other wild florals. I felt so inspired after I came home - a change of scenery always works wonders! I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I did making them.
